Michael Jackson’s kids and family sign commemorative belt

When Michael Jackson died I recounted my sadness and recalled that it was much like the day Elvis died. Again the similarities are eerie in the news that a blinged out limited edition commemorative belt has been designed by Simon Tavassoli of bbsimon of Newport Beach. The first belt has the distinction of the only item in the world that has been signed by all of Jackson’s children and his parents in an effort to pay tribute to the artist and raise funds for the Jackson Family Foundation to build a cultural center in Gary Indiana, the Jackson’s native hometown. The signed belt is the first in a series of 7,000, and will be priced with the auction. The other 6,999 belts will be available for $1500.

But Beverly Hills Mom has other scoop! Amiable Beverly Hills art dealer David Streets, along with BHMom is an alumnus of Bryant Galleries, and he has actually worn the belt and allowed me to post photos of his moment with what is sure to be a must have item for the collector of all things Michael.
